The tree of life provided eternal life to Adam and Eve. This act of eating was critical to obtaining eternal life. Ellen White states that in order for man to possess an endless life, he must continue to eat the fruits of the tree of life. Deprived of that tree, his life would gradually wear away. In this DVD, Randy Skeete shares the importance of spiritual eating to perpetuate eternal life. Christ says we are to have eternal life now, but we don’t have access to the tree of life anymore, so in the meantime, how do we access the life in the tree of life because we must have that life. We can have life only as we have communion with him. Separated from God, existence may be ours for a little time but we do not possess life. Christ says that as He lived by His Father, is the way we must live by Him. What does this mean? God is a spirit and a spirit does not have flesh and blood. God is not a cannibal. Christ clarifies, “The words I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.” Christ tells us plainly, that His words are spirit and life -- eternal life. The Scriptures are the great agency in the transformation of character. As we wait for physical access, this is how we access the life of the tree of life. Study the Word - for it is your life.
